Cinematic colors with the S-Cinetone color function.

The S-Cinetone mode, developed for Sony's acclaimed FX9, is the default setting on the FX6. The precisely tuned coloring of this mode meets the requirements of modern content creators with rich colors and natural skin tones. With this function, the camera produces fresh and vivid images directly without correction, which nevertheless offer plenty of scope for post-processing.

The back-illuminated 10.2 megapixel Exmor R CMOS full-frame image sensor captures even low light. High readout speeds and 15+ dynamic range levels offer high image quality, high sensitivity and low noise.

AF uses intelligent tracking and in-sensor phase detection for subject tracking over almost the entire image (627 phase detection AF points cover approx. 89% of the image area).

High frame rate shooting transforms everyday activities into elegant series of images. The FX6 captures up to 120 frames per second (fps) at a resolution of 4K (QFHD). Slow motion and time-lapse modes allow you to adjust the frame rate of the shot from 1 to 120 fps up to beautiful 5x super slow motion (24 fps), giving you full control and the ability to accurately document movement.
