The world's smallest and lightest12 full-frame system
We present the smallest and lightest12 digital full-frame system with interchangeable lens and integrated optical image stabilization (with FE 28-60 mm F4-5.6 lens). The arrangement of components, body structure and internal mechanisms have been extensively redesigned without compromising on full-frame camera performance. The user-friendly, robust body is around 19 %3 smaller and, at 509 g, around 22 % lighter than that of the α7 III4.
True-to-life images
The back-illuminated Exmor R™ CMOS sensor and the BIONZ X™ image processor work together perfectly. The extra-large pixels of a 24.2 MP full-frame sensor5 capture more light, for a wide dynamic range of 15 stops6 and more seamless gradations in shadows and bright areas. Natural skin tones and textures are achieved through excellent subject resolution, reduced noise and accurate color reproduction.
